I’ve had this idea for awhile, but just got a spare couple of hours to sit down and put it in motion.
It’s called trakpak. Basically, it offers a common URL for tracking packages from UPS, FedEx, and USPS.
Enter a URL like http://trakpak.be/1Z0ER4930341968210 and trakpak will redirect you to UPS’s tracking system.
I have about a thousand more ideas for this, so it could grow into something a lot more than what it is. But for now, its just an easy way to track packages.
Update: The trakpak.be domain got eaten up by the Belgium government, apparently you have to be a resident of Belgium to register one of their TLDs.
